About Me
I was blessed to live in Venice for 40 years. Back in the 70s, I started painting the canals. One Christmas, I created calendars of my paintings as gifts and called them the Venice Canalendars. Today, they remain a genuine labor of love.
I painted the canals of yesteryear--back when the sidewalks were crumbling and the banks were lined with quaint, one-story cottages--not a McMansion in sight. Mostly, my works depict simpler times, living on the "Retro Canals."
The 2027 Spirit of Venice Calendars feature 12 digitally remastered paintings. Feed two birds with one bowl: treat yourself to a year-long vacation on Planet Venice, and support freelance art. Most of all, enjoy a wildly colorful and inspired 2027!
I'd love to hear from ya!
